    Lets see some flintlock pistols!

Oh yeah, I love cased sets, rifles, accoutrements, tools! It satiates my OCD while still speaking to my sense of craftsmanship and art. Neil

    Two feathers health issues

Yeah, I get it, lol I spent most of my life building houses. The last ten years or so I drew houses for an architect. I mostly drew details and as-builts but from time to time I'd get a whole project to do. I got a reputation for building the most beautiful bunker style homes you ever saw! LOL...

    Lets see some flintlock pistols!

Very, very nice (as I slowly put the Pedersoli Kentucky pistol back in the drawer and put the camera away)

Glad to hear it. Hang in there, listen to the Drs and therapist, they really do know what's what. They put me back together a couple times already with very few left over parts.

Nice, really nice! That horn just looks like it was made for a mountain man! I'm working on one now, (first horn). Tomorrow is rain and cold, the horn will be something good to do. Neil

    Red River Renagades

I think I'd like to try that some day. I've been shooting black powder for a few years and I always liked trap and skeet. Used to take my boys when they were kids. We'd load the truck up with a pile of guns, clays and shells and just shoot till we got tired. They're both pretty good shots now to.

    Ugly pedersoli

Was this recently? I think customer service is always the way to go first. It's also a direct line to the company. It's hard for the bean counters to know what to fix if the don't know it's broke. The problem is when big retailers stateside get involved. "They don't build them, they just sell...

    Lyman GPR flint breaking

Maybe check to see if that little piece of leather is there to pad the flint in the jaw.

    Ugly pedersoli

Beautiful gun, really. I own two Pedersoli flintlocks, a Kentucky long rifle and a Kentucky pistol, both in .45 caliber. The fit and finish was actually above what I was expecting. Having said that, there's a problem with quality control and final inspections at the factory. Not just Pedersoli...

    Howdy from Texas

I rode through that area a couple years ago traveling Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana to Austin. I can't believe how built up everything has gotten in the last 40 some odd years.

    Howdy from Texas

Yeah, we do stuff like that all the time! Welcome from Maryland! What part of the line star state do you hail from? I got some people not far from Austin. I spent a couple years at Ft Hood in the 70s. Probably, the best time of my life! 1862 Bridesberg musket I restored to working condition from...

    Cleaning between rounds

Not the right way, not the wrong way, just my way! I noticed after my first shot, my shots seem to be unpredictable. It could be I just didn't study it enough but I'd swab a wet patch then a dry patch and shoot. First shot, right on the money! Second shot, up a notch. Third shot, maybe on the...
