    barrel removed from stock remove flash hole plug.with some good nickle rod weld up the hole,file and dress down the flat.mate back into t5he stock then with a scribe mark the bottom and the top edges were the brech plug meets the pan. then remove barrel,center frontand rear and just a bit below...

    rifled to smootbore

    I picked up a t/c 1"round flint 50cal. Bore extremly rusted. I hand bored it out to 9/16-.562. then sent it to Ray to bore to 20ga. he sent back, t/c drilled the rear site screws to deep,allI did was take out the rifling and rust, then I had day lite in the bore.Moved the lock to another stock...

    will keep your stock in mind. I should get it this weekend from the auction shipper. It has a broken frizzen at pan cover. Another has been ordered from Dixie, not far from me. Plan to make a smooth bore out of it. Will be my first rocklock. Bore is rough, but I may clean it up and try it out...
