    I know even commercial barrel makers have barrel straightening presses but I keep thinking about every time I’ve tried to bend tubing. I know it’s not the same but I can see me with a kinked barrel. :)

    IMHO…. 431.1 a where it says “to propel a projectile by means of explosive……” says you can’t. Just because some folks have been doing it doesn’t make it legal. People were brewing their own beer before it became legal.

    Using the wooden blocks with rosin is almost a must but you can get away without buying a vice by clamping the blocks with your barrel in them to your bench if you have room.

    I looked at that blunderbuss but it looked too “cartoonish” so I bought an Indian made one now I’m dealing with that. Keep us posted on your project it should be interesting.
