    Kibler side effect?

I don’t, unless I am not using it much. If I am shooting it once or twice a week, I do not. Maybe once a month. I did when I first started. I however go to the range 100 times for every hunt.

    Kibler side effect?

Sir I am sure my clairvoyance would serve me well. I also doubt anyone you nominate would accept. I do think if a politician has not had one duel in each term he should be ineligible to seek another, as that person lacks the required conviction to hold public office.

    Kibler side effect?

Jim, we have had many conversations in the past. I have built at least one of each of your products for myself and others. I and many others defend your products on this forum vehemently. I feel your time could be better spent working on a nice Kuntz or similar pistol design. I am getting...

    Kibler side effect?

I’ve put together other kits and 4 Kiblers. There is NO comparison. The Woodsrunner is way ahead of the Colonial which is way way ahead of anything else. As far as ease of assembly.

    Crowning Accuracy

If you are using a patched round ball, cone it. I have a .54 crowned that can keep everything in 2.5” at 82 yards. I have crowned at least 4 rifles and never saw a difference. I do measure groups and don’t use the words “shoots fine” etc. If being historical is relevant, no one used a short...

    Kibler Pennsylvania Rifles

I put together one for a friend. It would be much better I carry than the .50.

Can you get 3 aimed shots a minute?

Pre measured powder containers, bullet board, coned barrel, thin patch, range rod, light load…never mind a whole minute is too long for me to concentrate.

Mike Beliveau injured in fall, doing OK.

I wish for a speedy recovery. My wish is not unrelated to wanting to see more videos.

weight of trigger pull on a Kibler Woodsrunner

I want a little slack. I don’t want pressure on the sear unless I am pulling the trigger. The screw is however clever. I polish the top of the trigger. My WR is over three pounds. The Colonials I have built were less than 3. If you want an exact measurement I can do it again.

Barrel length and velocity of patched balls

That raises the question; would 2F, being slower burning achieve more gains from the longer barrel?
  12. Kmcmichael

Barrel length and velocity of patched balls

The round ball loses velocity so badly, it largely negates the higher velocity achievable with increases powder. I just test until I get the most accurate load and use that at whatever distance is common for the proposed target. One might increase or decrease the charge for a different distance...

Is the Kibler SMR light and whippy?

I have one in .40 and consider it a good offhand gun. The 45 would of course be easier to carry.

    Newbe from Tx

Welcome from Dallas. I have a Woods Runner and will say it is a great choice. I do get to Brady once a year or so. They have a match next month I believe.

i killed an elk in Area 9 In 91. It was easier to draw there at the time

    New guy from Yuma, AZ

Welcome from Dallas. I was in the BP stationed in Blythe from 88 til 96. I lived in AZ so I could put in for AZ tags. I killed some Cous deer and an elk. I put in for everything. Now I kill the occasional white tail with a flintlock. The Kofas have Desert bighorn sheep. They are around in that...

    Hi from Bonnie Scotland UK

Welcome from Dallas. We spent two weeks there last year, beautiful country. Ancestor was from Dumfries, Cromwell gave him a free ride to Virginia and a guaranteed 8 year position in the tobacco industry.

    Colonial .54 touch hole

I never drill the hole out. I’ve got three of his guns.

    Scope mount hole fix

if I did that, I would mount it in a tire and shoot it with a max load...and still would not trust it. If you could get it lined, that is a different story. It might not be worth the expense to you.

    Scope mount hole fix

I would not. I have never seen this in a black powder gun but have on a smokeless. It does not work.
