    New Hawken rear sight.

A friend who has owned many original rifles had a batch of these cast years ago. I was able to pick this one up today, and it really finishes the rifle! One thing I have noticed on a fair amount of originals is the sheer thickness of the rear sights. This is a detail that I believe is overlooked...

    SOLD Potsdam canoe/blanket gun

Here is a cool one I rescued. Came to me with a bulged barrel and a cut stock. Refit the gun into what it is now. Cut the stock and barrel back and reused the front band and inlet the stock for it. Also has a nice new nipple. This gun is a blast! Pun intended! I have sent everything from gravel...

Can any make out this name?

It was a quick pick and that’s all I could get yesterday, it was a half stock, percussion, had a hinged patch box with pewter nose cap. Double set triggers. I will do my best to get better pics on Monday. Stock had Ben broken and repaired several times. It was also a brass mounted gun.
