    Northwoods Muzzleloader Camp

I love hunting big woods too, and cutting a track and stalking all day if the weather is favorable. That said I'm getting older too and can't put in the mileage that I used too and/or drag out the prize like when I was a youth. Grills are great but a big cast iron skillet and dutch oven...

    bullets for lgp 1-32 twist

I think he wants to shoot lead conicals which are fine to discuss. I'll mention two that have worked well for me the Hornady Great Plains and the Buffalo Bullet conicals, not sure if the latter are still made. Lyman makes molds for their plains bullets. Two members here Idaho Ron and Idaho...

WITHDRAWN 50cal. Thompson Center barrel for Renegade

I believe the tc hawken was available with the 58 barrels also. Might have been a special order item, or from TC custom shop in NH. The TC 1-inch barrels are a 30 second swap from a renegade/hawken

That's a beauty! From what you said you near stole it. And welcome! Take some calipers to the bore to get an idea of caliber. Can't see detail but looks like it needs a new front sight. Post some pictures of that TOTW might have something that would fit. How does barrel come out? I don't...

I'm a fan of slings. Proper military hold will be more accurate using a sling. And it's a lot easier to drag a deer out of the woods without having to carry your rifle.
