Shifty Fox is a hit an miss operation. Period..! You might get what you pay for and you might not.! Kibler for an accurate easy kit to put together is the very best for newbies by far. Wow thanks for all the replies. The property the gun range is on is owned by the township. We our sportsman club had a 99 verbal lease. We thought it was recorded but the township said it was verbal only ( ? ). We are now rewriting it to a ten year lease as of me writing this. The anonymous two...

Thank you all for the replies. We have had two meetings so far. Both had a lot of support for the range. The two people who want the range closed . Never said a word an they only post anonymous online about the range. The bad news is we have a new township board coming in. All liberals.!

    Gun range lead concerns

We have a small public gun range. It has been in use for 50 plus years. No issues an no problems. Now because of a couple of people that moved to our area recently from California. Anyone ever hunt with a handgonne?

For squirrel, rabbit yes indeed. Now with a round ball for deer inside 50 yards. Yes it will but a maxi is better. Like anything shot placement is the key. Now if we are talking about the weapon that Maillemaker showed NO have not. Regular pistol yes.

What is the reasonable distance to quickly kill a turkey with a muzzleloader?

It's very simple analysis. Your effective distance is where your best pattern is. I use a combination of number 4 an 5 shot.

Importance of Shot Placement vs Power

This has been interesting to read the comments. Solanco gets it. Its all about shot placement and your abilities. When I started hunting I was told the bigger the caliber the better. Because a 30/06 kills them deader than a 30/30 or simular B.S. Dead is dead period. Right bullet or prb or...

    flintlock purchased from friend.

Donating for display only was my agreement and it stated to be returned. But that didn't go as planned..! Unless you have an extremely valuable item. Going to court to get it back. Could be more expensive than what it's worth. A friend of mine lost thousands of dollars of Civil War guns...

    flintlock purchased from friend.

Unfortunately muzzleloaders can be sold with no FFL in most states. These guns were donated and once that is done. The organization can do whatever they want with them. I learned this the hard way.!
