    Pondering a flintlock. Educate me.

WarDawg we have a river shoot in our area. With a 8 inch steel gong on the other side. About 100 yards away. My 40 rings it no problem if I do my part. It's a great coyote getter..!

What has more effect on POI, muzzle velocity or recoil.

Of all the guns I've owned and I'm no expert. I have worked on almost everyone of the triggers on them. If it's a stock I'm making modern or muzzleloaders. It has to fit me perfectly. After the triggers are adjusted for me. Then I work on a consistent load for the gun. I've never believed in...

Need advice on collection of 4 unopened 1970s kits I just purchased

One thing that truly matters in selling anything. You have to find the right clients. Otherwise you won't reap the most profit. In my area I doubt you would get $250 dollars for the whole lot. Everyone wants an inline. Nobody wants a custom flintlock or percussion and they certainly won't pay...

Take EC121 Advice the Woodsrunner from Kibler is as easy as it gets. My 8 year old grandson put one together with a minimal amount of advice. They are a fantastic kit and super accurate rifle.

Stock inletting questions for a bozo who's never done it

If it was mine. I would see how well the lock fits in the stock in let. Then see where the lock pan relates to the touch hole / vent. Third take Phil's advice to the letter about taking the lock apart. Take pictures of before and after. Lay the parts out in sequence of how you remove them. If...
