    Smoothbore powder loads for deer hunting question

    I use 65 grains with a 600 grain round ball. All shots inside 60 yards ( lucky to see that far ) where I hunt. Never had a deer go farther than 50 yards. After being shot. You need to find an accurate load. Whatever that may be. More powder doesn't make your deer any deader....lol
