    The easy tell, is that hole ahead of the trigger on the underside of the trigger guard you can see it’s threaded. That’s where the bolt comes in from the top.

    I did use my WMC one year for elk using 90gr and Hornady boredrivers but have since acquired a TC Treehawk in .50 cal from a forum member. Has the synthetic stock so now I use it with the heavier loads and keep the WMC at 80gr. Dont want to even take a chance on splitting the stock!

    I just saw a CVA Kentucky Flintlock Kit listed on here for 350. It’s in .45 and that barrel is suppose to be accurate. Way under budget and you get to build one from the Butt Up! Hope this helps! Reds

    BPI sells SperoBismuth it is state of the art Bismuth that is really round. Original Bismuth had many odd shaped pellets so patterns were iffy. If you do decide to shoot steel use BPIs TPS wads as this will be your best bet to protect your barrel. I personally use bismuth 4 for ducks in South...
