    Kibler barrel lug drilling/ relief cuts...

    If you drill o/size the barrel won't be held down tight to the channel. I wouldn't do that. The jeweler's saw is tedious, but it works.

    Ballistic Products sells 5 1/2 sized shot, but only nickel plated. Nice stuff, but ridiculously expensive at $57.60/11 lbs plus shipping.

    Most likely a process error. The point of a chrome lined barrel is that chrome is harder than steel, and tungsten, so those materials won't score the bore.

    Any lead shot is safe in your barrel, as is bismuth if you want to hunt waterfowl, or have non-tox restrictions where you hunt. Chilled lead will be heavier per pellet than hard, or magnum, shot but I doubt you'll tell the difference in your bag regardless what you can find. Ballistic products...
