    T/C Hawken Flintlock

Two questions. 1) does it have the old-style **** or the new one? 2) does it have a touch hole liner now? If it does, I just run a 1/16 drill through it rather than replacing it. Good luck. Old style. New style.

Question on Tannic Acid + Iron Nitrate - Sanding back after application

Jim mentions in his video why dry sanding is not recommended but I'll be darned if I can remember what he said. I just went ahead with wet sanding after that.

Pardon my ignorance but what is a goonerization?

    Why Kibler

Best quality, best looks, best historical accuracy, best ease of assembly, best lock speed and reliability and just plain the best. Can't say much more. Happy with both of mine.

Kibler 58 Colonial or (future) Fowler?

I'd get the .58 so you can get to using it. By the time the new Kibler kit comes out and you receive and build it you'll probably have two seasons in with the .58 and can save for the new gun. Also, once you get the hang of the flintlock you'll want more. Good luck and don't wait until your...
