    Squirrel Dogs

SquirelDogDynasty is a good place. I think his name is Kevin. I bought one of my dogs from him. You can get a new pup for a a few hundred or a dog trained on hunting for over a grand. If you check out his site, he lists dogs and pups as he has them and includes videos of the in training.

    Squirrel Dogs

Both are awesome truck dogs and I take them with me a lot. Good companions when I am camping too. Nothing will come in your camp at night that’s for sure. They will let you know.

    Squirrel Dogs

Here they are, in the woods and in the city. They still go bezerk when they see a squirrel in the city. My neighbors are not amused.

    Squirrel Dogs

I have had 3 total and I keep them in the house. In my opinion they make excellent house and family dogs. I have had them around the kids when they the kids were babies and they were all wonderful. They have been non aggressive and social with other dogs but the two males I had did fight back...

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Worked on converting this percussion southern rifle to flintlock. The internals of the flintlock are a little wider, so had to set it deeper. Now to make a touch hole liner the same as the drum threads and I can use either one. And I have to refinish the whole thing.

Looking for opinions about shot sizes.

4 to 6 will work well. I think the 4s carry up better on a longer shot

    Dovetail help on smr.

👍 that’s the spirit. It will work out. We have all been there. We spend a lot on these parts and it’s upsetting when things go wrong. I am lucky to have a great friend who is a builder and he has told me that his learning process involves lots of fixing mistakes. Your gonna have a great piece...

    Dovetail help on smr.

Take a deep breath!! It’s ok. There are sights with longer dovetails, and you or somebody else can make a sight if you don’t find one. I once received a rifle with no rear sight and the dove tail was longer than any sight I could find. I soldered a piece of metal into the dovetail, partially...

    ---HELP ----Mildew starting on tent

Vinegar n water. Works well and not harsh on the fabric like bleach. I would not use a strong bleach solution on the tent. I have used vinegar on fabrics (canvas n wool) boots, water shoes even a wool brimmed hat, and wood surfaces for mold/ mildew and it’s worked very well.
