    Hard work

Phil, I had a few friends say similar things. For me to use easier materials. Your right!! Building a cabin evokes a whole different feeling and kindred spirit that a shed or plywood just won’t provide. Your place looks great!!

    .45 for squirrel? Powder charges?

MedicMike, A 45 will work great on Squirrels!! I used to use a 36 but then I got a 45 Dickert rifle and I have used it for everything for about the last 10 years!! Aim for the head or upper quarters and you will have lots of success! Squirrel hunting is my favorite!! Good luck

    Hard work

Built one a few years ago. Hard work but very satisfying. Best part is when you lay your head down and look up at the structure you created and know you will sleep warm, safe and dry!! Good feeling.

Whiskey it’s “Smiling Fox Forge” their hawks are made by HB and cost $135. To $155. Not cheap but a good quality. The Crazy Crow one is good for my needs- out costs about 35-40 bucks.

    English Light Infantry Axe question

Sure, by the way, my buddy just got this one from Smiling Fox. It’s an HB and very nicely made. I think he paid more than the ones from Crazy Crow.

    English Light Infantry Axe question

Whiskey, I bought this from Crazy Crow a few years ago. I don’t remember what that called it but it’s supposed to be a British infantry hawk/ axe. It serves me very well. Not too heavy to carry in my belt and just heavy enough to be effective as a useful tool. I stained the wood handle. And it...
