    My second-hand T/C bore looks a lot like than and it shoots great. Give it a good cleaning according to some of the methods mentioned above and I'm sure you'll be happy with how it shoots.

    What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

    Put mine back in the safe... I have a .50 T/C Renegade that I use for deer hunting. I took a nice doe on the last evening of the season a week ago. It got a good cleaning and oiling and now it's time to rest. I'll have it back out in October.

    Hunting with a percussion rifle

    Cap on, hammer down, as of a week ago. I used to be in the half-cocked camp until I was sitting in my stand and looked down and my cap was gone. They stay on pretty good so how it happened I have no idea. Could have been hugely disappointing if I had discovered the issue with a deer in my sights.
