    Breech Plug Pull + Reinstallation Services?

    I’ve never removed a breech plug but from what I’m reading not all breech plugs are exceedingly tight. I seem to remember hearing some years ago that some breech plugs were screwed in with interference fit threads, making them pretty much unremovable.

    Yes, I’ve bought one from them. I was just thinking of cutting out the middle man so to speak. There is a knap-in once a year a couple of hours away where I can buy nodules. They don’t advertise it well so I missed it this year. Going to try for next year.

    The bigger patchbox is probably the quickest,easiest solution. I had another idea though. Inlay a contrasting oval piece of wood and engrave it to look like a presentation gun.
