    30 Year Old Black Powder

Use it. I’ve shot a lot of powder from the 1800’s. If it looks fine it is fine.

If you want to replace your junk with more junk, I’m your huckleberry…

Where do you draw the line?

Oh, I know you didn’t Tenn and I didn’t take it as one. That said, I consider myself more of a ‘Skeeter’ than a Billy Bob.

Where do you draw the line?

Billy Bob the Country Boy, eh? Billy Bob is town next to me. 😉

    Swiss in small bores

Swiss 3f for me. Different charges for different guns/scenarios but I find less than 36g ideal for me in all situations. Usually more like 20-30g. Thicker patches always did me better than thin.

    Cross Body shooting.

Doing good Anthony, thanks for asking, just trying to get back on my feet after that nasty surgery. Starting to feel myself after all this time. Glad y’all liked the SMR video. They’re a treat to shoot offhand.

    Middle TN Shooters

Hey Cookeville, I’m the next farm over from Short Mountain Distillery and I drive the side by side over at least once a month for a tasting or supper. That said, this place being so famous for moonshine (Al Capone bought much of his from the farm the distillery is now on), most of the best...

    What will turn aluminum black

I was all set to post ‘Rustoleum Flat Black High Temp Grill Paint’ and much to my chagrin I find, once again, my snark is in no way unique.

How To Stop a Moving Buck Deer

My humor is the cause of many a wifely eye roll, this I can tell you. I must admit to never trying any sound but the soft ‘maaa’ of a doe, the way I was taught by the old man. Between my old Pop and me we take half dozen or more deer a year here on the farm. I have cause, especially in archery...

How To Stop a Moving Buck Deer

Bow, I’m not saying it can’t happen, deer not understanding English and whatnot. I’m more picking on folks who’s instinct isn’t to make a ‘natural’ noise a deer might expect but rather to say words one’s pretty cousin might expect. All in good fun. Who knows, yelling ‘Upon Saint Crispin’s Day!’...

How To Stop a Moving Buck Deer

I’m glad you guys are good shots but not only do I usually have to help my ‘shoot em on the move’ buddies track their wounded deer at least once a year but on the days before the open I have to set through the story of the one good shot they made a few years back and then I nod my head in the...

How To Stop a Moving Buck Deer

I make a “maaa” sound like a cross between a doe and a cow, which is as close as I can do to a doe. They freeze every time but sometimes only for a second so you have to be lined up.

TC drop GM barrel have people gone crazy?

I don’t think there’s such a thing as a snowplow driver who sits around when there’s no snow, so I would say, going out on a limb a bit, “driving something else for someone else”.

TC drop GM barrel have people gone crazy?

This will be a fun thread to laugh about later as inflation continues to skyrocket. I just read Delaware, I think, has a shortage of snowplow drivers and are now paying $310 per hour to get positions filled. Imagine. $310 per hour. It’s a bit more than more money than sense I fear.
