    Unknown, possibly Asian, flintlock.

So I managed to get the barrel out, and it appears to be a repurposed barrel off of an 1860-1890's European rifle. The plug is secured to at least the standards of an 1800's manufacture black powder arm from any of the major powers. The lock is definitely cannibalized and not craft made. Unsure...

    Help fixing a dumb mistake.

Update: Gunsmith got it out. Now he's focusing on getting the nipple situation figured out. I recommend giving them a call about 30-45min (or around Athol at the latest if coming from the south) before you show up. That's what I do and I have never had issues getting in. Probably gonna have...

    Unknown, possibly Asian, flintlock.

Its possible. I have handled khyber pass stuff before and this definitely has similarities. The main reason I don't think it is is the fact I have never seen this much aluminum used by khyber pass stuff. It is possible though.

    Unknown, possibly Asian, flintlock.

So the metal is aluminum. The ad on gunbroker claimed it is supposedly salvaged aircraft aluminum. It does throw a good spark and my gunsmith deemed it safe to shoot (albeit not with more than like 50gr of FFg). Unfortunately, the flint chipped after trying to get the flash pan to ignite a...

    Help fixing a dumb mistake.

There's no powder. I loaded it dry accidentally at the range. Got distracted talking to a buddy and shoved the slug down the barrel I didn't add a powder charge to. The nipples are open, just rusted in place. I cleaned it out before the trip and it will cap off fine.

Cool. What brand. I might see if Buffalo arms has em today when I go up there for powder.

Will that work if the nipples won't come off? I thought those needed to be removed first.

    Unknown, possibly Asian, flintlock.

Got the flintlock pictured off gunbroker cause I found it neat. Seller had it listed as an unknown Asian trade flintlock. The bore is rifled and appears to be approximately 45 caliber. The lock has no markings both externally or internally and there are no markings on the barrel under the...

    Help fixing a dumb mistake.

So. I got an original coach gun a few days ago and managed to get a hand cast foster slug stuck down the bore dry. Tried using my bullet puller and had no luck. The nipples are rusted shut even after an overnight bath in kroil, and the plug doesn't want out either. I saw a video of a guy...

WANTED Potsdam musket cut down carbine stock

WTB an 1809 potsdam musket stock that has been cut down for a carbine. Stock on mine has a crack that is unable to be repaired and I am looking for a new one to make it safe to shoot. Would prefer an original in good shape ( all I ask is crack free), but a repro would be accepted. Budget is up...

WANTED 52 cal bullet or ball molds.

Recently picked up a .52 caliber Hall rifle and looking for molds for it. Don't care how many it can make at a time. Just want to try shooting it with properly sized projectiles. Let me know what you have and what price you're asking.

WANTED Reproduction or original Enfield 3 band.

Must be in shooting condition, no major cracks (and would prefer no minor cracks if repro). Bayonet and sling aren't necessary, but if you have them, let me know how much you want to throw them in. Looking to spend about $1000 tops. Can meet in person in Kootenai county area.

    Belgian dueling pistol.

Thanks. The guy I bought it from had a gold inlaid one too that was a lot nicer, but I was short on cash for it.....

    Belgian dueling pistol.

So I got myself a Belgian dueling pistol a few days back and was wondering if anyone here could pin down a manufacturer. Also how would you guys would recommend going about shooting it or if I even should, as it's a damascus barrel. Its approx .69 caliber and appears to have been converted from...

Numrich arms underhammer reassembly and problems

To everyone saying the full **** notch was damaged, that was it. Squared it off with a dremel and now it holds no problem. Shot it a bit today too. Puts holes through paper well enough.

Numrich arms underhammer reassembly and problems

If I hold it forward, it holds in place till I stop. I'll try swapping the trigger to see what happens. Might just try and find a replacement spring too.

Numrich arms underhammer reassembly and problems

Tried that with a screwdriver of similar diameter. No luck sadly. Hansi, I will link a video when I get home from work to detail the problem.
