    Spiller and Burr

I have three brass-framed revolvers, and I do not baby them. I shoot as much black powder as will still allow easy seating of the ball. None of them are loose. All are 36 caliber, BTW. I think 44 caliber revolvers will loosen with lots of full loads, but I don't know from experience.

Yep. If they were good sellers, they would still be manufactured.

    Spiller and Burr

It isn't the design of the gun that is causing the binding. I can shoot mine a lot before it starts to get sluggish. I lube all of my black powder guns with Ballistol, and nothing else. Mine shot really high when I got it. I made a new, taller front sight for it out of an old brass screw...

There was a sling of some type made for them, maybe several types. I remember seeing pictures, but I can't find any now.

When I turn on the TV, I always check to see what is on Story. Lots of good programs.

    Spiller and Burr

On mine, the cylinder was somewhat difficult to replace into the frame at first. It either loosened up after shooting it some, or I learned better how to do it, or a combination of both. I didn't do any filing.

    Revolvers with no loading lever

You can just remove the lever. The gun will shoot the same either way.

    Burned!

I sold him a Rogers & Spencer repro revolver with worn, but original plumb bluing a few months ago. The deal went fine. He apparently thought I sold it too cheaply, as he immediately tried to flip it at a much higher price. No takers, so then he pulled it, and was going to "mint it out"...
