This may work out. I just need places to pin to and perhaps some bedding then I'm in business. The Woodsrunner forearm only needed a little rasping in the channel. The chubby barrel will ride a little proud of the wood but should be good.

If l can get my woodsrunner front portion to cooperate then yes.

In the interest of expediency, and as a fair share of UH guns are switch barrels, I shall proceed with a barrel on hand. It's cva 54 me thinks. Stay tuned!

Well, I believed I knew how gently to extract tube from yonder maple, but that surprise crack and all mayhem....I can only reinforce the care that must be observed when doing so.

Here's a question...are the hammer and trigger serviceable as received or do they require hardening? Also the stock bolt is actually the shaft from an impact puller hammer... ought to hold up.

I'll true up the "reciever" on surface grinder and re-tap the stock bolt to 3/8 fine. Then polish and match the wood to metal....photos after that.

I had a mishap with my Woodsrunner build recently but after the tears dried up I realized an opportunity. I finally found a butt stock for my H&A underhammer action. Salvaging this marvelous piece of maple is a huge relief. I plan on all steel hardware...browned.

    Yet another Woodsrunner!

In a testament to customer service, I would like to let the forum know that Jim Kibler evaluated the break on my stock and determined to replace the stock. This of course is beyond "customer service". The original stock has been repurposed on a hopkins & allen underhammer project!
