    Thanks fellas, but I do tear it all the way down every time I shoot it. I am a bit OCD about cleaning my guns, can't imagine not doing it. The spring appears fine but I thinking it may have weakened over the years.

    I have owned this Walker since 1977, have fired it many many times thru the years. However now when I **** it a tad to fast the cylinder travels past the stop. Would a new bolt spring fix it or is there a way to strengthen my current spring?

    Very likely my last horn. I really like this horn, tuff to have to sell. Quite a difference from my usual build. 12 inches long, 2 1/2 across the butt which is cherry with a walnur finial. Plug is also walnut. 125 shipped. Will carry very well on either side.

    thanks NotchyBob, very lucky to find it. My local archery shop owner had it for many many years and offered it to me for 80 bucks! When I saw it I couldn't believe my luck, especially being .54 cal. No breechplug so was able to really check the bore and it was pristine. It shoots much better...

    Thanks mcClura, I apply Kiblers patina solution then rub back to desired look. Find it much easier than blue or brown. Also it just looks right to me, not sure if many were done this way. I have done 6 this way.

    Azmntman, I surely appreciate the comment, and I pray you are not correct about the wood. This is actually CM3. I had planned to order a new stock for the GM barrel in the near future.

    Horn is 11 inches long, 2 1/4 at the butt, which is cherry. I secure butt with acraglass to make sure of air tight and strength. Plug is walnut. 115 shipped. USPS money order, or personal check will work also.

    60 yards bench, 65 grains 3f Grafs, with .018 ticking around a .530 ball. Built this from a Pecatonica kit, the swapped the barrel to NOS Sharon barrel, love this gun. The 2 on the right was just my failure to follow thru.
