I absolutely love TOTW. Amazing products and service. Probably around 80% of my muzzleloading gear is from them, and I don't regret it.

I Hope To Meet With Lead Casting Folks

Based on what Rifleman1776 said about "stir and skim the melted lead frequently", I am going to Crud and gunk will form on the surface of the melted lead in the pot after a little while. You want to skim the solids chunks off the top and you will be left with a shiny molten lead liquid surface...

Do cap and ball muzzle loading pistols need to be shipped to a FFL dealer?

In general, no, you do not need to send black powder guns to an FFL. In states like NJ, they treat black powder guns just like modern cartridge guns, so make sure to check your local laws.

    Hazmat fees are CRAZY!

I just bought 3 tins of musket caps and it amounted to around 30 bucks. Not too bad right? It's all fun and games until they hit you with a $65 HAZMAT FEE. Someone, please explain for the love of god why this is! Someone share my pain!

    Cleaning between shots

It depends on how your gun fouls up. If it becomes difficult to get the ball down, then yeah, you probably need to swab the bore. Fouling is also dictated by what type of patch lubricant you're using. Fouling will be much more prevalent with a dry lube as opposed to a wet lube. I use a 1:1:1...
