  5. Flintlock1640

SOLD 19th century boy's musket project

As shown. The lock is not included as it came off a different gun but I wanted to show it wouldn't take much to fit it to that lock, (Siler?). I think it is about .58 but I don't have a caliper. Bigger than 9/16 but smaller than 5/8. Everything is just kinda small on this so that's why I say...

It has IH on the front sight which I believe is James Houston of the pre Revolutionary War Staunton area of VA. It had an obviously later period stock...
  10. Flintlock1640

FOR SALE Reduced: Early 1800s New England stock

I think the gunsmith whose estate I got all these projects from must have made these since none of what I got was complete. This one was badly pilfered for parts but it still has a couple and it is a solid full length stock so hopefully someone can use it. I grabbed it hoping the barrel would...
  11. Flintlock1640

SOLD Reduced: Another early 1800s New England musket project

The stock is broken off and pretty badly split for most of the barrel channel. Would be easy to reconvert that trade lock if you like since the conversion didn't go too low. Barrel has the name Pratt on it and is bored smooth and is .62 caliber. $150. Cordially Sam
