Did the TC white mountain carbine come with predrilled scope mounts?

Check the holes and make sure that they did not drill into the bore That was the first thing I thought of after I learned they weren't factory, removed the plugs all good......whew!

Did the TC white mountain carbine come with predrilled scope mounts?

I picked up a White mountain carbine at a estate sale this is how it came, overall it is in good shape bores perfect a few stock dings a refinish will take of I assume it has a 1:28 twist. What mount bases would fit on this?

    Bullet starters?

I threaded a 9mm casing to accept 50, 54 jags, a 45 ACP ball starter, a hole for palm saver can be used as a hammer to start maxi balls not historically correct it does make loading easier

    Yep, I'm a sissy.

You are not alone, I use a magnum PAST recoil shield (sissy pad) for my .54 TC Hawken with the heavy mini balls, you never feel recoil hunting in the field off the bench is a different story.

Is it uncool to use Pyrodex?

Due to lack of 3F or any black I tried Pyrodex P in my revolver I will report it works better than black, consistent ignition better accuracy, load triple 7 in my 45-70 trapdoor and 44-40 Yellow boy, 1873 single action I get a lot less fouling
