If I had not just bought a new one, I'd buy it right now! The next gun I buy will be a used one for sure!

    Nipple grease

I've ruined just about all my shirts from this hobby, lol, but I'm not one who really cares. I just need to remind myself to use these particular shirts when shooting/cleaning because I did order some new shirts. Mom got on me about my appearance the last time we went to town, and convinced me...

sir, you are helping me so much to develop buckshot loads for my side by side, thank you so much. I live in Southeastern NC where my dad brought me up deer hunting with beagal hounds. We still hunt too, but also love to hear the sound of music and shoot these river bucks running with 00...

20 vs. 12 gauge for hunting

Yesterday I tried this load in my 12 gauge modified and improved cylinder choked side by side: 82 gns 2f Goex, nitro card, 90 gns #7 & 8 shot, over-shot-card, .5" OxYoke lubed cushion wad with pretty awesome results at 25 yds. Without the lubed wad loaded last, the improved cylinder was hardly...

What do you recommend for storage of bags ,horns etc? I'm not sure which is best.

Yes it does, looks very awesome. And I bet it was very, very tedious to install, lol, but worth every hour. I'm planning re do all my bedroom and bathroom walls with some type of boards. We just put down some very decent water proof floor throughout the entire house. It is a plastic type of...

I was a carpenter 19 years, from 16 years old to 34. The mud room is very cool and the ceiling. is the ceiling tile the old tin type or the new? I like the floor as well. Great job!

    Any Buck shot hunters?

I developed a 50 yard 00 buckshot load for my 12 gauge _____muzzle loader with its jug extra-full choke. I killed three deer last season with only one shot and the last one was at 50 paces. Of course I gave her a foot of lead and six hit the vitals. I'm working on a buckshot load for my new side...

    Must be more careful

I have killed my daily 15 limit countless times. If you wrap a piece of bacon around them and grill them over charcoal, you will be hooked like me. Delicious and very fun to shoot. But nothing like trap or skeet.
