    Most have the short front sight which is what you got if'n my eyes r not lying. So expect it to shoot more than a foot high at 50 yards. The other taller sight is available cheap and that way you don't have to aim at your toes!

    Hello, a friend that doesn't shoot anymore is lending me his Gibbs 45 cal match rifle with the fast twist, 1-21". He doesn't have the mold anymore that he made the 500+g bullets with. I have several .445 hollow base 405g bullets. Would these shoot accurately in that fast twist?? Thanks

    Yall, what I'm saying is it don't matter which brand of 2f :Goex, Shutzen, ect, 60g will shoot good in both of my rifles.

    Ohh, I forgot to say that the point of impact is different with different 2f brands but accuracy is good (1 1/2" @ 50 yd)

    Hello all, I have a 3 band and mississippi and both will shoot minies accurately with any brand of 2f as long as it's a 60g load. Is this magic or why? I've never seen this happen before.

    Does a jug choke effect round ball accuracy?

    I found that I had to use a technique I call the jug choke jam. I get the ball barely started then hit it hard with the butt end of my kabar so that the patch won't slip around the ball as it goes through the jug choke and it hurts when I miss and get my finger!

    Thanks and very interesting. On a good day I get 5" at 50yds. Most days its 8" with a flier in 5 shots, usually not on the 2' wide target. Using .535 ball with very thick patch is most consistantly accurate. Patched 56 cal balls are usually worst with patch or not. Strange

    Hello, I recently bought an old custom 40 cal percussion with N V Smith St Louis, Mo 1968 on the barrel. The lock looks to be very old with the name Josh Golcher on it.
