Ain't gonna take it any longer

I am having trouble with all suppliers. I don't mean just gun related every thing. Meds, home improvement, car parts, some foods, ect. You are lucky if gun parts are the only things that are hard to get, Some places are having more trouble than others depending on their size and type of product...

    Preparing to brown the barrel

Follow the instructions on there web site. When they say don't rub back and forth they mean it. I found out the hard way. I did mine in a steamy bathroom and it came out perfect.

    Traditions breech?

I have one of those that had the same problem. The breech won't budge. There was a ring of gunk in the barrel in front of the touch hole. First I filled the barrel with penetrating oil that did nothing. Next step I used a CVA patch remover broke one wire off. Then between using a breech scraper...

    Pendersoli Pennsylvania Longrifle Build

I just finished one of their scout carbine kits. I first stained it with LMF cherry stain and wow talk about red. Then I used LMF Lancaster Maple stain that toned the red down quite a bit but you can still see red in the stock not quite like AF on maple but it still has a red tint.

Stuck ball in a charged rifle

The pressure in a CO2 cylinder changes with the temperature. The warmer it is the higher the pressure. Now if this is used out side on a cold day it may not work the pressure maybe to low. CO2 is like most refrigerants R12, R22, R134, R409 etc the pressure drops with the temperature.

    Thinning LMF Sealer

The label on mine says clean up with mineral spirits. Put a drop of each on a plastic or ceramic plate stir and see what happens. Use the real stuff not that eco friendly junk.

USPS and Track of the Wolf

I belong to a club that has a couple of retired USPS management people in it. We were voting on offers at one meeting one of them was there and did not raise his hand to vote. I asked him when it was over if he didn't like who was running. He said the reason he didn't vote was he didn't know...

    kibler fowler

I don't have a choice about shooting a rifle left handed. I am right handed I wont say I am blind in my right eye but not far from it. My percussion rifles are right handed but I have this phobia about a flint lighting off a pan full of powder right in front of my eyes. A full face shield would...

    kibler fowler

When a manufacturer keeps everything in house he has better control over the finished product. Take the lock plate for instance when he makes a run of stocks and has a problem with the size of the plate mortise he can adjust the program on the mill that produces the lock plates to compensate...

    kibler fowler

There are more people that want a left hand gun then they than. Most lefty's are tired of asking (being ignored) than they think and just adapt. Chambers has some left handed models. I guess they see enough sales to make them.

    Ridiculous Cap Pricing

This sounds like a tolerance stacking problem. Nipple on the low end and cap on the high end it falls off.Cap on the small side and nipple on the big side it won't fit. You may have to find a cap that fits and stock up on that particular brand and lot. Worst case scenario the cap manufactures...
