    That’s a very good point. Who cares if it drops right? Just Part of the fun. Thanks man. I finally have an 1860 and am very glad I bought it. It was used and a 2010 model Pietta. Like it very much. I am going to seriously consider doing what you did to your grips. What a World of difference...

    Does the loading lever drop much with yours? I've actually seen some that have the horizontal latch but not many. I really like yours. I'm real excited about getting one. Some day anyway.
