    Yes sir it’s rarely the gun and mostly the nut behind the wheel when it comes to shooting .The 45 I used to have (2 of them) liked 80 grains if I remember but each one is like the misses kinda finicky you know .lol Good luck with your shooting in gods country,I do miss them ole mountains.

    Only 8 to 12 pounds a year I wish ,both my smoothbores well shoot 2f schuetzen but like 3f much much better .

    Well I took my little 24 gauge with 26” barrel to the range today and I still flinch once in a while but the 2 f was giveing some grief.So after some 25 yard warm up shots I went for 40 yards ,it’s coming me thinks .

    I’d say if your using Goex 3f I’d start with same grains of schutzen in 3f and you probably won’t find any difference between the 2 of them .

    3F powder vs. 2F in .54cal flintlock rifle

    Oleschool you are the man off hand wow that’s some nice shooting .As far as the difference between 2f and 3f is about 10 grains in my 54 hawken 32” barrel .🤷‍♂️
