    Bagmolds

Please refer to my original post. I did, no answer, no voicemail.

    Bagmolds

I understand this, that's why I'm on his site in the first place. Just a matter of getting in touch with him to tweak the custom order. I'd rather have a bagmold than something from LEE, RCBS, ETC

    Bagmolds

The number on his site doesn't have voicemail set up. No hours listed on his page, nor an email address. Guess I just need to call and see if I get lucky and he picks up. Note: I'm not complaining, just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

    Bagmolds

I've seen a handful of folks here reccomend bagmolds.com but when I placed an order, I saw a page that said to call after placing an order. I did, but was greeted with a message saying the number doesn't have voicemail set up. Is there something I don't know or should be concerned about?

    Thank you unknown person

Everwhere I look, it seems that big bore round ball molds are out of stock. I found a post from late last year where somewhere in this forum someone reccomended bagmolds.com and it's just what I was looking for. I closed the tab before I thought to make note of the person who mentioned it, but I...

    Can you offer any specifics?

    How did you get hooked?

Here's what inspired me to ask the question: I know someone who is making a 1:1 scale replica of the Bayeux Tapestry (look up the dimensions, one hell of a project for one person). She is more interested in the craft aspect while I'm more interested in the history side. I was curious to see what...

    How did you get hooked?

Sounds close to where I'm at. Building is definitely on my to do list someday. Maybe some day a "Kibler kit built by Pheenix99" will be worth something ;)

    Convert to the Holy Black

Suppository guns? What kind of lube should I use for those?

    How did you get hooked?

I also like/own modern stuff, but my passion lies in more primitive arms. My trapdoor is about as "modern" as that passion gets. There's just something I find interesting about surviving in a time where if your first shot missed, whatever you were shooting at was going to kill you or run away.

    Pedersoli vs. Loyalist Arms Indian

That's been known to happen from time to time.

    Pedersoli vs. Loyalist Arms Indian

I've looked at several Indian samples, trying to find nice things to say....While I'm sure they're safe and functional, the stocks just didn't appeal to me. I'm on the verge of affording a new Bess (or Charleville), I'm hoping I can find one here. Something about a used and well loved weapon...

    How did you get hooked?

What got you hooked on muzzleloading? I'm a bit of a history afficionado, so I think what drew me in was the connection to a bygone era. While that's still applicable, I grew to appreciate the fact that many of these weapons were simply functional art.

    Pedersoli vs. Loyalist Arms Indian

I found one guy that assembled a Bess from Rifle Shoppe parts and it looked so gorgeous, George III himself would be proud to be his patron. Sadly that level of skill is beyond my budget.

WITHDRAWN Brown Bess/Charleville - Partial Trade?

Edited to reflect an interest in the Charleville as well. Hell, just about any big bore will get my attention.
