    Another option for caps.

The Post Office won't be a problem. The caps are empty - no compound.

    Another option for caps.

Shipping on these could be pretty simple. Put x numbers in a ziplock bag in a post office envelope and add your time and trouble to go to the PO. If it's not worth it to you, don't do it. We are all just trying to have some fun here.

    Another option for caps.

If you would consider selling them you could do well. The beer can caps work OK but they are kind of a pain on a revolver. I have no idea of the cost of materials for you and your time is certainly worth something but you should be able to make some pocket money. It's a great idea you have here.

    Breech-loading hand gonne from 1480

This is maybe the simplest and most practical breechloader I have seen.

    Latest Acquisition

Yep. Kind of like holding a really old flint point. It soaks into you.

    Latest Acquisition

Yep, that's unusual. The value of the trade is up to the traders but it is above my pay grade for sure.

You must have had a mighty interesting WWII piece. That is a very nice wheel lock.

    Nock Volley Gun

When it fires does it go with a single big bang or kind of a ragged roar? And there is the possibility of one or more barrels misfiring. I would check each barrel to make sure they were empty before reloading. Fun, though.

    Matchlock lock coming along.

Looking good. It's hard to make these things function smoothly but yours looks good.

    Sling Ideas for Trade Gun

Yep. Look at shotgun slings and then make one out of something besides nylon. Armorer has a good idea.

    Pyrodex?

For $20 I would buy it. Put it in a tight sealing plastic freezer bag and keep it in a dry place for when you need it. Or offer $15 apiece for two of them and shoot it up.

    My First Wheellock

Don't know if it's historically correct, but it sure looks nice.

    New Piettas are coming

Well, now you have done it. Yesterday I thought I had all the revolvers I wanted.

    Worth it to save it?

It depends entirely on your emotional investment. From a straight dollars and cents viewpoint, you should junk it. If it was me, I might just fix it up. You could spend a whole lot to get it really nice or spend less to get it to a good shooter. I personally would play around with it and do...

    Revolver grease packing

I have seen references to packing revolver actions with grease, I assume to keep them lubed and to keep fouling out. If a person uses a light grease to keep from freezing everything up what are your opinions? Is it good, bad, or doesn't matter?

    Superimposed load rifle

I think these would actually be legal for Oregon muzzle loader seasons. Revolving actions are prohibited but nothing is said about superposed rifles. I'm not planning to try it.

    Gun Lost :’(

The USPS is running really slow and the tracking isn't updating. My brother just got a generator part that took 14 days from Arizona to California. The tracking probably won't show it until 1 or 2 days before delivery. I would wait another week before taking serious action. It sucks but...
