I don’t have anything like you described to offer in trade. Any other trade items that would interest you? I do “need” a lefty smoothbore though.

Here is my feeble effort for September. Appreciate the effort in making this match happen.

    September Online Postal Match

    Maybe something spooky?

    September Online Postal Match

15 yards for the pistol seems reasonable since we are shooting the same target as rifles.

I don’t know, they were pretty wiggly when I put my sights on them.

    Help with C&B ID

I have an older Uberti London model with London on top of the barrel. It was made in 1996 or so.

I like these targets. Is the rule still that we shoot one and done?

    August Postal Match Target

Thanks to Garypl for his time and effort on this match. Congrats to Richard Dittman for a well shot target. Time to print targets and do it again.

1851 Colt Navy with Ivory grips

A Navy colt with ivory grips, just don’t get any better in cap and ball revolvers.
  11. J

Thinking about getting my first cap and ball revolver.

A Uberti navy is never a bad choice. Almost certainly you will be adding more anyway. Like the old lay’s chip commercial, you can’t have just one.

    August Postal Match Target

The best I can do. I hope to get back into this, certainly is fun.

    .58 caliber?

I can come up with a bunch of reasons to get one. Reasons not to, got nothing.

    August Postal Match Target

Gotcha. Half a .45 ball would obliterate that little seed anyway.

    August Postal Match Target

Do the seed hits count if the ball cuts them, or do those hits need to take out the whole seed? Thanks, Jdirt

    New gun day!!

Getz incident was in 1984 and his weapon was a Smith and Wesson .38.

What are you putting your money on. Draw

I would have to go with the 1851 navy. The caliber is adequate, the ammo is easier to carry and the ergonomics are the best for me. Beside all that, the navy is the best looking handgun there ever was.
