Will CCI #10s work on my new Slixshot nipples?

I have slixshots on my 1993 vintage pietta remington navy. The cci 10s work on it just fine. I wanted to get remington but they were not to be found. This navy was a cap hammer before, but now it runs much better.

Has anyone tried a "Franken gun"?

I have put together a few frankennavies from pietta parts. I current have a couple of spare frames, both with arbors. One is a brass frame and one with steel frame. If interested, let me know. Thanks, J.B.

    A lemon?

I don't quite understand what you mean by couldn't get the ball through the cylinder. Like others have said, try real black powder before giving up. Pyrodex is not my favorite in revolvers. Too many hangfires and misfired. You might also try larger round balls, my .36 Piettas like .380" balls.

SOLD Uberti 1860 Army with Fluted Cylinder NIB

I find myself with too many 1851 navies and not enough 1860 armies. I was going to offer a Pietta navy that is used with a nice action and 200 bucks for your army. Thanks, J.B.
