    Uberti or Pietta 1861 Navy?

Another consideration is Pietta is proud of their products and puts their markings all over the frame where it is visible. Uberti hides theirs under the barrel.

    Colt Cochise Dragoon

Mine has never even been cocked. Gold is a soft metal so I didn’t want turn lines. The minute you **** it, it would lose value. Many people say that they would never own a gun and not shoot it. But many gun enthusiasts decorate their homes with guns just for show. I have about 30 or so like that.

    Colt Cochise Dragoon

I am currently moving and have it packed in storage. But once we find a house and get unpacked, I’ll let you know. I’d like to see a picture of yours. Do you know when it was manufactured?
