    TC NE stock and barrels

    Are the TC New Englander barrels 50, 54 , and 12 gauge interchangeable on a stock or was it specific - one size stock for 50, another for 54 and another for 12 gauge? I have a 12 gauge and was wondering about possibly getting a rifle barrel. Thank you.

    Musket caps

    I have only used #11 caps in other rifes. I was given a tin of CCI 4 wing Musket caps that say "for reenactment use". Just got a gun with musket nipple and would want to use them for hunting. Are they hot enough for reliable ignition? Thanks.

    I know it is in the original post but want to emphasize that this lock, as shown in the pictures, has been improved by Brad Emig of Cabin Creek and the original flash hole has been replaced by a Jim Chambers White Lightning. This is a "2 gun offer" with the same very reliable ignition.
