    SMR. 40 cal. Kibler

I just ordered a Kibler SMR in 40 cal. Can't wait for it to come. I was going to get it in 36 Cal. Because I like the slim look of it but then I found out that 40 is the same outer diameter of barrel so I went for the 40. It's funny because I've been drooling over the colonial kit for over a...

How do you prime your pan?

Well this is completely not true. I was using 2f and I had a significant delay. Now that I use 4f it fires instantly. I think it's completely up to what your gun likes.

    Inletting patch box

No the box is not engraved just plain Steel. Which is how I'm just going to leave it since it's a southern Poor Boy rifle I don't want it decorative. It's just a plain oval Bean patch box.

    Inletting patch box

I have a TVM Southern Poor Boy rifle that I've owned for about a year that I've decided to put a patch box and a side blade on and I've been nervous about that. Just received the patch box yesterday in the mail. Even though it looks so simple and easy I've been nervous about screwing up the rifle.

Where can I get bear Grease or oil?

Besides the obvious answer of going out and hunting bear, where can I get some bear grease/oil? I got some a bunch of years ago and I can't remember where I got it from. And I'm running low. I've been using it on my flintlock rifle but now I want to start trying it on some patches for shooting...

    Making what you need.

I don't know how all this thread turned into this but I agree with some that are saying that they are way overpriced. If they were to lower their prices a little bit they would probably sell a lot more. And make more money. But it's not my business to say. So I will continue making my own things.
