    1860 Army Detachable Stock fitting

No problem. When I bought it , it did not come with the original scabbard so I just went ahead and made one, it's not perfect but it works. Originally I had a flap-style on it but then I realized that I wanted to just keep the stock attached so I cut the 'flap' down to what it is now.

Hopkins & Allen Underhammer Boot Pistol

I have a few underhammers and run into this problem some times. I take a small hammer and tap on the non-screw head side. Tapping the pin tighter to the frame. Eventually it seems to ‘catch’ and the screw (with my finger on the other side) will unthread. It may take you doing it several times...

    Burned!

I agree ,at least a response would be something. Being silent on the matter is not going to make the problem go away since we all (I’m sure) already know who it is but doing the right thing would at least be DOING THE RIGHT THING but as of now those of us who are honest and on here a lot...

Traditions Kentucky Rifle, really not a bad gun

Traditions Kentucky Rifle, really not a bad gun

Hmmm that does sound like a good idea because my experience with the first one I pieced together from an old , cheap stock I won on eBay (I wasn't even trying haha) was that I felt like I couldn't miss the target with it , so a descent L & R lock wouldn't be too bad an idea in my opinion. Good...

I have 2 of these (both cap lock) and my intention is to make one a flintlock but dang those ol' CVA locks in flint are elusive and when I do see one they want more than what a built/got the whole gun for.......
