    New Batch Biltong

The kind of biltong I am familiar with is seen in Africa, strips of whatever meat is handy, hanging over lines or fences to air dry in the sun, and little else is done to it, besides brushing the flies off. Yours looks much too nice and tasty to equate to African bush biltong.

Why not just have the island FFL get what you need for your hunt and skip all the shipping baloney?

    Pedersoli owners, speak up

I dont know if the Pedersoli Penn Dixie .45 cal I bought a while back has the patent breech or not, but on its first shoot, the only fouling issue I had was 2F compared to 3F. 2F would foul the bore much quicker than 3F so that was what I used. I dont recall any other issues.

So I just snagged the .36 cal Frontier from an online auction. The same seller also has NOS Frontiers in .32 and .45 cals for the same price. Not sure the policy here about online auctions but if anyone wants more info, shoot me a PM.

What is it that pulls us into muzzle loading!

Got my first rifle shortly after seeing Jeremiah Johnson, a T/C Hawken .50 cal of course, and been messing around with BP ever since though not to the exclusion of modern firearms. Every so often the interest kicks into high gear, like right now!

Liver-Eating Johnson in True West Magazine

Mountain Man, by Vardis Fisher is a good read, though a novel. I read another account a year or so ago, that I cant put my hands on, but gave a pretty good account of his life.

T/C Seneca or Pedersoli Frontier, in .36 cal..?

Just looking for opinions on which owners like best. I own several T/C rifles but all .50 cal, currently. I have one Pedersol Penn Dixie in .45, all of these rifles perform well. I have owned one Seneca previously, a .45, dont think I ever shot it, then sold it. I know where I can get...
