SOLD EXCELLENT Lyman .50 Plains Pistol REDUCED

I have a couple of Italian replicas that have the number in a box like that. One has a 19, one has a 20, and one has a 21. I believe it is the date of manufacture. Those were the years that I bought them in as well.

Tested some .570 and .575 balls in my Kibler smoothbore

Not bad shooting! Have you tried shooting a pillow ticking patched ball? I’m looking at getting the same setup. Your gun looks great too!👍🏻

Up for sale is a 2021 Uberti 1860 Army. I shot this revolver one time and it has been sitting in the collection ever sense. Lee bullet mold question

I have removed the handle pins on a old Lee two cavity RB mold before. Had no reason to I just did to see. The threads are really steep. It seemed to take only a half of a turn and it was out. Went back in easier than it came out. I have wonders the reason they have a removable pin instead of a...

    Is the "P" word OK?

I still have a partial can I bought several years ago, they were easy loading and went bang every time. I will never buy anymore though and doubt I will ever use the ones I have again. Accuracy went from great with 30 grains of loose powder to horrible with the pellets. Never could get a good...

Going to order a kibler but which one...

There is, you have to get drawn for a permit to hunt them or own private land where they are.

Going to order a kibler but which one...

You peaked my interest on what was legal for elk in Arkansas. I looked through the regulations and it said that you can use a muzzleloader legal for deer. The regulations for deer is .40 cal or larger with a rifle. That seems like a great way to shoot an elk and never find it to me.

    Sticking balls

My Uberti 1860 Army dose the same thing! It cuts a good ring on a .454 just pulls it back out after ramming. The rammer face is for a conical, it’s is pretty sharp on soft lead. I went to a .457 and it doesn’t pull them any more. I have a 1861 navy and shoot .375 RB out of it it has ent pulled...

    Crocket rifle debut

My .32 shoots the smaller diameter RB better as well, also likes a heavier charge. I like those crockets they are nice rifles.

Field/Farm Use of Cap & Ball Revolver

Maybe keep a good belt knife too, it won’t run out of shots. Would make for a way cooler story to tell if you won the fight.

Field/Farm Use of Cap & Ball Revolver

What I am doing with this one is kind of an experiment. I’m not going to completely neglect it, but I feel as if I am affording it the same amount of time and care as one would have during the war of northern aggression. Give it some attention and look over during down time, or at night after...

Field/Farm Use of Cap & Ball Revolver

I carry one of my many reproductive revolvers often, ether hunting, or around my farm. I prefer to shoot Goex over Pyrodex. It cleans easier and doesn’t start to rust things as fast. I wipe everything down and use moist cloth and patch with a balistol and water mix if I shoot one or two...
