I got the thimbles made and mounted, nearly done. Multiple holes for sling mount.

The Slide Hammer grip is 9"s long, for a 7/16" ram rod. Made a new under rib, fills the dove tail slots better. Shaped the "entry pipe", with a ramp. I may do this to the first thimble.

Made an under rib for my tube grip on my slide hammer. It fits.

My slide hammer is a version of a Carleton design. kind of a rare one. Bought the parts does that count?

I shoot "Sheepherders Lube", similar to the NASA Lube.

Also use desiccant packs in the can. Desiccant packs may not be needed, but make me feel better about long term storage.

Looking back this may be why I like a water proof sealer and finish on my guns. I use Spar Varnish with an equal amount of Tried & True, thinned a bit. You can always take the metal parts and clean, dry and oil them. But the stock needs a good sealing. Row Row Row Your Boat!
