You can get those 1/8th to 1/2 inch tapered reamers at Harbor Freight. Thats what I use after I drill the hole. Then I use a fiddlers tuner thing from TOW. I've never heard of using water in a horn, that's new to me. Dave

I just extended the sear on a lock. It was a double set trigger, and I Changed it to a single trigger. Doing so I tig welded an extension on. I have a nice trig pull now. Rich, you did a nice job on the sear. I'm impresseded. Dave

Cut it off, and recrown it. As TDM stated, it's no big deal to cut, and move the nose cap back. Dave

The Carbines do not come with "sling swivels". I installed a set on mine, The bottom one is no problem, it just screws onto the trigger gaurd . The top one has to have a lug, silvered soldered onto the bottom of the BBL, and drilled out for the swivel screw, thru the stock. That is the only way...

Well you must have bought it, cause its hanging on your wall. I have a Carbine Bess also I love it. It alwaysn draws a crowd at the range. Dave
