    Themed License Plate Ideas

FLNTLOK was my first choice but every combination I tried was already taken!

    Themed License Plate Ideas

While I do appreciate and can understand why it is important to go "incognito" or "off the radar" in these trying times, I also have to take into consideration that we are all hopefully trying to be advocates and gateways for people to get into a sport that is, like it or not, not very common or...

    Themed License Plate Ideas

Yeah I got a warning that the combination I chose could be related to weapons or inciting violence or offensive crap... What is this world coming to?

I can respect that, luckily half of the vehicles in my neck of the woods are plastered with various stickers advertising all the unmentionables potentially under the front seat. My lowly black powder reference would hopefully be pretty low on their list.

I don't have many options as there seem to be a lot of like minded people in my state!

Powder charge. How much powder do you use.

I shoot 40gr FFFG out of my .40 Kibler SMR, it just happened to be the most accurate when I did my initial load development. After a thousand rounds or so I may ladder test my loads again to see if anything shoots better but I am perfectly content if it stays at 40.

    Woods Walk Course Design

Sounds like a great weekend project, you'll have it up and shootin' before you know it, so you already have some trails or roads to utilize?

If you have the land for it, there is no better way to enjoy a muzzleloader!

    Woods Walk Course Design

Hey, thanks for the idea! Gonna hang it on my woods walk this evening for the weekend shooting festivities!

    Woods Walk Course Design

Yep, good ringing steel is a must! I have a woods walk set up on my property with 17 targets, some are hardened ar500, some are mild steel pipe, and my favorite are a handful of knives from an old John Deere combine, they are shaped like a Christmas tree and dance like crazy when hit (they are...

    TRADE #9 Shot

Hey everyone, I have a local shop that has some #9 shot for a decent price. I was gonna pick some up today but figured I would ask first if anyone is looking for that size and if they had any 4, 5, or 6 shot to trade?

What "fun" targets are your fav's

Yeah, those things are a ton of fun, and LOUD! Always get a bit nervous when that pressure getus up around 100psi in those soda bottles but any less and you don't get the bang!

What "fun" targets are your fav's

For those of us who love to shoot steel, I have found that shepherds hooks do quite well to hold smaller targets, up to 8" if you can find the really good quality ones at least! you may have to heat it up and bend the hook closed around the target to keep it from sliding off the hook but that's...

What "fun" targets are your fav's

I always like steel, eggs also make a fun target but they are getting expensive these days just like the generic canned sodas I used to shoot all the time. Round lollipops are an easy one to set up, just mount a horizontal board or branch of some sort, drill a bunch of holes and put the sticks...

    Bore Blaster 5000! Or something...

During the summer, I tend to sit on the front porch and use an old creamer jug to flush out my barrel but once it gets cold and the wind starts howling, it ain't so much fun. I got to thinking about those sinks back in chemistry lab that had a hose barb on them and how I could set up my utility...

Went Hunting and Left my .54 loaded for 3 days

I would normally agree but I have seen way too much rust show up in my bores to skimp on the oil. I used to use Ballistol for that but switched to a patch sopping with wd40 (which I leave stuffed in the muzzle with a tag to pull it out) and have had much better results. I tell ya what, those...
