    What did you do today

When I worked at the NRA UK I had the pleasure of meeting Bill Curtis, shooting with 'The Old Accoutrementarians'. Years later I emailed Bill and asked his advice on building my TRS Baker Kit. His advice boiled down to "Sell it and buy an Enfield!" Recently, I re-read one of Bill's articles...

Finger in the trigger guard on single action revolvers?

I find it almost impossible to remain perfectly on aim whilst cocking. A neligent discharge (there is no such thing as an accident) will result, at best, with a poor score, or a miss. at worst? I dread to think. I scorn those who would advocate anything other than FINGER OUT

Finger in the trigger guard on single action revolvers?

Sadly, I live in a country where ‘popping out into the wilds to get my meat, or letting off a few rounds’ is next to impossible. I envy your freedom and hope, sincerely, that you enjoy that freedom forever.

Finger in the trigger guard on single action revolvers?

Doesn’t matter if it is a proper gun OR an unmentionable. Finger out until you are aiming at your target and ready to engage. Spin a gun on my range and you‘re out!

    Needed a .685: bullet sizer

Made mine a similar way using brass as the sizer, steel tube for a support. Threaded some aluminium to fit my single stage press, threaded bar rounded off for a pusher. Dip lubed the bullets first.
