Things said that make me want to shoot alone

I will gladly teach and give advice, if it is being sought out. Everybody seems to be an instant expert at 17 years old. So I just do it my way.

    What are these?

After some due diligence, I'm going to guess Moroccan powder flask. Obviously, not all would be high quality. (late to the game, I see ;-0 ) http://oriental-arms.co.il/item.php?id=2518

    So..... why a muzzleloading?

For me it was largely history and primitive skills. Being able to craft a kit into a firearm, was appealing. The accuracy and power was surprising and gratifying. The feeling of "stepping back into the past" is fun, and enjoyable.

    Lubricant for Fiber Cushion Wads

I melt beeswax and olive oil to make a squishy paste at room temperature, but not oily. Warm it in a tray and coat the wads. Place wads on wax paper, and let cool. Place in container for the shooting bag. Some of the mixture peels off at loading, but having a little lube left over is no problem...

    How old are ya?

    68. I thought getting old would take longer. Bought my first Dixie kit in the 70's after reading the Foxfire article featuring Herschel House.

    Shooting Marbles?? Is that smart?

A car washing chamois skin worked good for patching, by the way.

    Shooting Marbles?? Is that smart?

Yes, as long as they have enough windage for a thicker than cloth greased leather patch.

Got my tools, ready to disassemble, any words of warning?

Take "in progress" pics for your own reference, in case you get interrupted.
