Sorry for the newbie question but I have simply no way to compare: on my new Pedersoli An XIII flintlock pistol the trigger is very loose. Meaning it just is flopping back an forth when the gun is not cocked. It releases just fine. Is that the way it is supposed to be?

Caps can be bought but not black powder and its substitutes. I'm working on my license but that will take till early next year I think. But it is possible to shoot together with somebody that has a license already.

Do you know where they were made? I am aware of weapons made in Suhl in Thuringia (my fathers family is from that region) in that time period.
