    Can't grow a decent beard. Had a mustache once years ago and it was passable, but the point here is that I do not grow robust facial hair and I don't want it when I'm not reenacting. I'll figure it out. Was just thinking that someone else might have gone this route and could offer advice.

    Does any reenactor you know use theatrical facial hair to add to their persona? I have been thinking that theatrical hair applications would be preferable to growing my own facial hair and enduring all the itching. Your thoughts?

    BEWARE! I got ripped off

    I almost got ripped by a guy wanting to sell me a rifle from a well known maker for $600. Ridiculously cheap! I found the pictures of the rifle he was going to sell me on Gun Broker, a completed recent sale. Ya got to be so careful anymore. The thieves are everywhere!

    I would have thought that a Patent Breech would be the common type used now days. The only other way to access the nipple chamber would be to drill the opposite side of the barrel directly into the chamber and then plug the drilled hole with a screw.
