Yup a traditions 50 rifled barrel. it actually shoots a real decent pattern at up to 15m. Definitely good enough for close grouse and rabbits.

FYI, how I load this for shot is 50 gr. FF, paper shot cup, 7/8 oz. of 6 shot, and a felt wad over shot. It works great for grouse and rabbits at 10-12m normal distances for grouse here.

Update for 2023. Got the rifle loaded, possibles bag and horn ready. The Capote and haversack are by the door. Heading to the woods tomorrow to pick up where I left off last season. I have a buck tag this year and they’re running hard so hopefully can call one in for the Big bore.

Sat down with my bag of parts today and there isn't enough right side parts to make a right side lock. As I'm actually left handed, I shoot pistols left handed but rifles right handed, I could build a left handed pistol!

The two complete left locks are a Neumann Bros, and a Jamssen sons, Right lock plate is "The Changeable" Left lock plate also Jamssen and sons. single large lock plate is unknown, and the rough right lock plate is also unknown. I was going to swap all the bits from a left to the right Jamssen...
