It doesn't seem right to put a round ball into a rifled barrel. Same as with any other shot that doesn't contact the rifling. So it would seem that cement filled juice cans are not the best choice for rifled barrels. Comments?

If you care about your work and your guns buy the very best tap and die set available. That does not include made in China or purchased from a big box store. Do some research and protect your work.

Two things I don't understand. Why would anyone let a wife dictate whether he could buy a cannon or not. Why would any one buy or build a cannon that cannot be fired. Maybe it's just me. Think I'll go shoot a cannon today.
