    Lets discuss small bore guns

Post #6 by ETipp on the Crockett 32, well said. Mirrors my experience with and thoughts about this gun. I sold mine, a move I often regret. Small game and small shooters. I didn't find the Crockett particularly petite. I'm not sure it would be the best choice for small shooter. I'm uncertain...

Uberti Santa Fe Hawken has arrived.

I darn near bought that rifle but in a rare moment of clarity I remembered I'm already Hawken heavy. I put a kit version of this gun together years ago and traded it before I shot it. I got the short end of the trade when I did it too. Congratulations

    Navy arms

I'd need to check an old Gun Digest however, from memory, it looks like a gun Navy Arms called the Morse rifle.

Roundball Twist On My White Mountian Carbine

I had this exact thing done by Bobby Hoyt, it's the only work he's ever done for me and I'd use him again. My WM .50 Carbine was acquired on the internet from some lying scumbag who misrepresented the bore condition. I accepted the loss and stuck it in a corner not wanting to pass my problem...

    New Member From Missouri

Welcome from Washington. I spent a 18 months in Sedalia 1978-1980 where I shot muzzleloaders with group of guys. The ring leader was **** "Black Hat" Smith, owner of The Plainsman Gun Shop. A great bunch of people.

    Pocket drill cloth at Joann's

I finally got my hands on some #40 drill from JoAnn's fabric. How many wash cycles do you users run it through before using it please?

    Have you bought?

Although fortunate to own some "historically correct" muzzleloaders, I'm a fan of most T/C traditional models. I also have more than a passing affection for models some other manufacturers offer. Historically correct function is important to me.

    Won A Hawkin!

I won a day old Twinkie knock-off by answering the daily question at a surplus bread store once. I'll wager your win was a lot more exciting. Congratulations, maybe a shooting report and some photos would be in order.

    Considering a .40 caliber

No the best but it should give you an idea.
