Drew a deer tag for this November 2-6th. So happy NM added an open sight requirement to the muzzleloader season, usually not much for anything that divides hunters, but I am guessing that a lot of guys didn't put in because they can't shoot with a scope. Plenty of time to work up a good hunting...

While I have had great success with them, top of the line is very subjective, and no doubt others will feel that CCI or Remington caps are better.

Buffalo Arms Company has them in stock, they are spendy, but I have had great results with them.

Powder Valley has the 4 winged musket caps, free hazmat today only.
